BlueChip
BlueChip—a device that measures both heat and concussive impact within a sports helmet—was a new company in need of branding that conveyed both technological prowess and the implication of a monitoring device, while communicating through their nomenclature that they were best in class. The tagline, “play on,” was intended to give parents peace of mind that their players could continue to do what they loved with an extra layer of safety. I developed a logo to reflect each of those elements, all the while keeping in mind that there are more than 113 million student-athletes eligible for use of this product. Fewer sport-related concussions in the world, please!
